When we engage, whether on a one-time or ongoing basis, there are a number of approaches that we can take to addressing challenges or pursuing outcomes together.
My unique methodology for problem solving and systems design can be applied to your unique challenges in a way that best addresses the problem, risk, or opportunity you would like to work on together.
This methodology, in addition to my proprietary systems and an intellectual property library that has been built over decades, can be applied to growing knowledge, capabilities, and relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
From individuals, to teams and small groups, to entire organizations, we can approach challenges and outcomes in a number of ways, from the tactical, to the strategic, to the truly transformational, depending on the scale of the issue and how deeply you are committed to the challenge.
No matter where we start from or which direction we end up going in, my focus is always on helping you make sense of today, prepare for tomorrow, and design for the future.
I see there being three potential approaches to solving problems, mitigating risks, or pursuing opportunities together. These approaches are intended to progress from addressing immediate challenges with simplified tactical solutions, to planning for long-term growth and innovation.
I call these approaches: Crawl, Walk, Run.
Crawl: Tactical Problem Solving
The Crawl approach is about making sense of what exists today. Having an understanding of why systems, processes, or applications behave the way they do and how they impact stakeholders enables us to put out immediate fires and look for opportunities for quick wins to build momentum from.
Walk: Strategic Guidance
The Walk approach is where we start to explore possibilities.
